Umm...oops.

Well, I missed last week. I overslept...had a late night and missed my alarm. But only because I had some friends back from college. I hadn't seen them in a while so I wanted to hang out with them. Which led to me missing out on my Saturday blog. But even so, here's how my two weeks have been. Last week was an amazing week. It always is when I see my good friends again. That Sunday, I had my soccer game as usual. I can't remember if we won or not though. But unfortunately, when I was putting pressure on the other team, I ended up spraining my ankle. Not badly, but enough that I felt it for the rest of the week. Fast forward to Wednesday. I saw the first friend from college. We actually did a lot...we went to see two different movies. We saw The Book Thief first. Overall, it was a pretty good movie. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the movie had no climax. It was a straight storyline, something that I'd have changed. But other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Before the second movie, we went to Ram's horn and had a snack. But, of course, I couldn't help but order my fish and chips. It's the curse of Ram's Horn on my life. Forever needing to buy fish and chips. Second, we saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. That was pretty solid. Same idea as the first with a few tweaks here and there. Or as my coworker says, second verse, same as the first. We did that and then had a good chat before calling it a night. On to Thursday, which was Thanksgiving. I'm not a huge fan of holidays...holidays get me down for some reason. But Thanksgiving came nonetheless. We had a couple of relatives over and skyped my aunt who lives in another state. Then my brother and I played FIFA 14 until the night was over. Not too shabby of a day. Friday came along, and I was supposed to hang out with another good friend of mine. Unfortunately, his grandpa was close to passing away, and his family was staying together. The grandpa was in another state, but the family was here because of Thanksgiving. So I said to stick with his family. They come first. Friday night brought other plans though. My friend from Wednesday called me up and asked if I wanted to go watch a play with him and his mom. A few minutes after that, my friend called up and asked if I wanted to hang out with him. So I called the first guy back and asked if we could all go and he said sure. So I called the second guy up and asked if he wanted to go watch a play with us. His first question about it? "Is it cool?" He cracks me up sometimes. The play was a version of "It's a Wonderful Life." It was in the setting of a radio station and people would come up and read lines off paper as if they were doing a radio presentation for Christmas, complete with commercials and everything. It was really cool actually. So that was nice. Saturday I finally got to hang with the friend I was supposed to hang with on Friday. He and I basically did nothing except for watch Youtube videos. He and I usually have majorly deep conversations, but with only a short time to hang out, it was more just having fun. After a few hours of hanging out, I had to go to soccer. As usual, I did well (luckily), and scored a few goals. I even scored one as a goalie! But other than that and a backheel goal out of the air (which I got kinda lucky on, but still felt awesome), it was so-so for me. I couldn't dribble to save my life. Gotta get that control work in more. I usually stick around after my game is over and just relax, but I left early and picked up my cousin so we could hang out at the same friend's house. We played some FIFA 14 and relaxed but not much else. We I then took my cousin back home and stayed up at my house for a while. Thus concludes my week. Pretty busy but lots of fun.

This past week wasn't anything really special. Especially compared to last week. I had basketball on Monday night, which went decently well. Thursday afternoon I had Chipotle for lunch and that was really good. I hadn't had it in a while. Yesterday I didn't do anything, really. I'm watching that dog again. That dog belongs to the family that has my friend and the one that grandpa had died. So their family is a pretty good friend of mine. And that brings me to today. Pretty much a nothing week so far. Tonight is soccer, so that'll help me. I guess that's what I get for not blogging on Saturday. But I should be a little better next week. You all have a good week.

Nothing happens...except soccer. Go figure.

So this week has been one of those weeks of nothing. Nothing really has been significant enough to mention. Except soccer, of course. Last Saturday I went out to a 5-a-side soccer tryout. Basically, everyone that went got to play, but it was a kind of showcase so that captains could decide who they wanted to be on their team. I knew a few people, and that made it a whole lot easier to jump in. I did pretty well, and even wow'd a few people. It was kinda funny after games when captains would come up to me and ask me questions. I felt like I was a 'hot prospect.' But most people probably got asked questions so it wasn't anything special, but I enjoyed it. When I went to pay, though, I found out that there's a lot more to this league than I thought. It's an Islamic sports outreach group. There's an Islam 101 class to attend on Saturdays before the soccer games. There are projects and other things to do as well. And all of it is part of a points-based system. And there's a percentage to attain to. As long as I have above a 60% point percentage, I can play the full time. If I'm below that 60% I have to sit out for the first 5 minutes of the game. If I'm below 50%, I have to sit out for the first 7 minutes of the game.  It'll be interesting to see what all happens with this league. After that, though, nothing much has happened this week. I just worked and played Assassin's Creed IV. Still enjoying that game. I think I'm pretty close to the end...it'll be interesting what happens with that game. But other than that, I really have nothing to add. I tend to stay away from doing stuff in public much anymore. Actually, Tuesday night I went out to look for a few things I need to get. The weird part was that I felt like it was a little late for me to be out...even though it was only 7:30. I'm a strange person. But eh. I'll probably always be that weird. But tonight is soccer!! I'm excited to play tonight. I'm hoping that how well I did last week isn't just gonna be one of those things where I did well one week then crash another. Because that happens. More than I'd like to admit. But there's no other way to find out than to get out there and play! That's all from me...yup.

Dogs, assassins, and breakdowns.

So I've actually been keeping up with this...I thought about what to post and I remembered to come in and write this. So hopefully it'll stay like this. But not too bad of a week. Started out by doing that digging job I mentioned earlier. Surprisingly enough it only lasted for a few hours. That was a pleasant surprise. I was also watching a friend's family's dog while they were gone. A very smart and obedient dog. She would go lay in her bed when I'd say 'time for bed.' But one incident made me laugh. She has a frisbee that is her favorite toy. Whenever I'd come over, she'd grab it and we'd play for about an hour. One night I was feeling exhausted and I was laying there. She wanted to keep playing so she kept pushing the frisbee toward my face. I kept saying no, so she gave up on that. But she was desperate to play. She laid down, put both front paws on my arm, and pushed the frisbee into my hand. That was pretty funny. But other than that, it was a nice time watching her. Then I headed into the week. This week has been pretty average, except for there wasn't much work going on for me. Not enough molds. That made for a few early days. Which is always kinda nice for me. Tuesday I bought Assassin's Creed IV. Been playing that for a few days and I like it. It feels about the same in the animus, but the first-person experience outside of the animus has been pretty interesting. Plus all the little nods to past Assassin's Creed games has been really awesome. I've been really excited to find all the little secrets. I've been a big fan of the series. So much so, that I bought a hidden blade. Yup...nerd haha. But beside the game, I haven't done much else. Just my usual chill and chores. The rest of the week went by decently fast. Friday was pretty quick and I got a free lunch out of it. I ate at a place called Lim's with a coworker and they offered to buy lunch. Got my usual there: almond boneless chicken. As per usual, it was delicious. Loved it. And the egg roll, of course, was awesome. Along with the chicken fried rice. Just an awesome meal all around. So that was great. Friday involved me pretty much watching the USA men's soccer team play a game against Scotland and sleeping. I felt exhausted that afternoon. Later that day, I did some dishes then went to bed. I was feeling pretty down that night (I went to bed at like 8 and that's not really normal). Once I laid down, I freaked out. Every now and then, I lose faith in myself  and crash. It's never a pretty sight. But eventually I got to sleep and that brings me to today. Got some yard work to do and then maybe clean my room a little. Plus I have soccer tonight...That always helps me. But that's about it. Same time next Saturday.

Once again, it's been a while. (also, Saturday posts from now on)

Maybe I should write on this blog more? I'm not sure. I guess I could. I'm gonna be on this on Saturday mornings, I'm thinking. It's kinda nice to come here and just relax. No pressure and no one to bother you. Plus the occasional friend who happens to run in here. Just to clarify, I'm at a coffee place. Which shouldn't make sense, considering that I don't like anything coffee related or anything warm or hot. But it's still a nice place. It's been a long time since I've been on here. Just kinda got away from it. Lost interest. I tend to do that with most stuff. It's awesome for a while, but only for a little while. Then I find something else or just drift away. I guess there's no push or need to continue on this. That's probably why. I don't have a need to write on here. Anyway, what's gone on since my last post? Ah, yes. I haven't posted since April...wow. Sheesh. But I had been freshly broken up with the ex. Well, not much has changed there - still single. And gonna continue that for a long long time. But still working at the foundry. Plans are in the works though...might get promoted in the near-distant future. We're working on opening the other building we own down the street and I could get moved to that spot. If that happens, there's a chance (not sure how much of one but still) that I could be a boss down there. If that happens, I may just get a raise (possibly a salary??) and be set for myself. That would be so very nice for my future. I could be set with money and probably a place and then chill on my own. Kinda disappear a little. I might change things around if that happens, though. Maybe I'll get over all the shyness. Become a little more normal. Or ok. Whichever way you put it. But I'm sure that would change things a bit. Of course, this is all just thoughts of what could happen IF the plans go through. But there's also a chance that none of this could happen. Which is a good possibility. But one can hope, right? I don't usually hope for anything, but I guess this is one thing I'm hoping about. The only thing. But other than that job, there's really nothing new in my life. I've been doing soccer all year round. One session ends, another begins. Soccer's my escape. Well, sports in general, but soccer is the major escape. I never do extremely well, but I try. I actually just started a session last Sunday. We lost by one. But it was still a good game. But that's pretty much it. I guess this'll be a Saturday thing. Every morning I'll start around 8 and type till I finish. Guess I'll see how that goes. But we all know how I do with stuff like this normally. Or like every time I've said how often I'd do this post. But I'm thinking this one will stay for a while. We'll see. Anyway, enjoy your day. Time to go dig some holes. Literally. I'm gonna help a friend out. But yeah. Do something awesome today.

Back.

I'm back. Hopefully I'll be posting more often? Who knows? We'll just have to see. But yeah...lots has happened. I saw that the last few posts were a while ago...time to bring you all back into the loop. Still loving my cleats...they're doing very well. Enjoying playing with those bad boys. But I'll post in my other blog about those. But on to other business. Life's been a big dick, to be honest. Work's been the same, so nothing new about that. We had a guy for about a month work with us who was lazy as heck. He just refused to actually work and felt a little too self-entitled to keeping his job. But eventually everyone got fed up with him. So one day he was late to work and called in 3 hours later and claimed he was sick. The boss said just stay in bed and don't come back. Boom. Fired. It was a fairly good choice. So we're back to our basic workers. And it's been decent. Sports has been decent so nothing to talk about there. So far, it hasn't been too bad for me.
Now onto the not-so-fun part. Two weeks ago, around this time, I broke up with my (now ex) girlfriend. It wasn't a fight or over something we disagreed on. In fact, we pretty much agreed on everything that was said. We were just growing apart. There were a few things that we knew might separate us (different choices that were made etc.) and we both thought that things were just being strained too much. So, unfortunately, things didn't work out. If the chance provides and the circumstances are right, we'd be more than happy to get back together. Of course it's been tough, and I've been writing stuff just for myself. Kinda why I've stayed away from here. So that was kinda not too pleasant. I guess I'm just thankful it didn't end up in a fight. Such is life.
But moving on. My tax papers also screwed me over. Apparently I had signed as exempt...oops. Although I'm not quite sure why I did that. I probably just read something wrong or something else...I wouldn't normally do that. Hmm. So I had to clear almost my entire bank account to pay for that. Fun! So that definitely was not welcome.
Those are the things that life decided to hurt me with. But you live, you learn. Hopefully I'll be adding more stuff on here as I go. Hoping to keep short but not too short posts on here with the occasionally long post. But it's time for rest. Tomorrow's gonna be...nothing. But still, sleep. Good night everyone...have a fantastic weekend and go do something crazy.

It's been a while. (just noticed this is the same title as last time but I'm keeping it because I'm too lazy to change it even though I'm making it twice as long with this explanation.)

It's been a while since I've posted here. Life gets ahead of you, things trail to the back of your mind, the usual. But since I'm still up and have done everything else I've wanted to tonight, I figured why not? Let's post something random. So here it is. Another post. Woot. Not too much happening in my life...same old, same old. Got a new pair of soccer cleats!! Probably gonna be the highlight of my week. $200 for those puppies...yes, I know it's a lot, but for me, that's worth it. But other than that not much else has happened. My life is fuuuuuun. Well, I should sleep now...I gave it a shot. Time for rest...and in the morning, work.

It's been a while.

Yeah...my blog is definitely not on the top of my mind right now. Like I said, I'm terrible at this. But not too much has gone on since I last posted...just work. It's been crazy and I've had no time to do much else. But I plan on posting a lot more. I do need to get back to this though...it's almost relaxing just typing out stuff that goes on. But tonight was just to post...it's been too long. But work means I need the rest to be ready for work...hopefully tomorrow night will be a little less hectic. Here's to hoping that I can blog again tomorrow! (or today, depending on how you see it)

It's late.

For some reason, I always end up staying up late on Saturdays. I know I should sleep but this just happens normally. Internet...you lure me in too easily. So many sites to visit, so little time. And then when you start to look at blogs and stuff from sites like Tumblr...there's just no end to it all. Waaaaay too much on the internet. Especially when that nostalgic feeling or that feeling of being down kicks in...the music and stuff just ends up advancing the overall feeling of the night.
Got me a haircut tonight...those who know me know that I absolutely despise haircuts. I can't stand my hair short. I just don't feel like I even look good at all with shorter hair. And on top of that my girlfriend likes my hair long as well. So I always put off a haircut as long as I can, usually while my mom asks me constantly about when I'll get it cut. Apparently she likes her son in shorter hair. It may seem immature, but that's one of the things we can argue about sometimes. So it's cut and looks blah. But it's just a part of what happens when I get a haircut. Just gotta wait and grow it out again. But on the bright side, I can't really get bad hat hair.
I was able to hang with a couple of friends today. Almost didn't feel like going but I figured I could use a little social interaction. Ended up showing up really late and my friends didn't let me hear the end of it. Gotta love my friends. We basically stayed at one of their houses and played board games and card games for a couple hours. Just a relaxing afternoon and such. Definitely had a blast playing the games and joking and even winning a few games. It was worth going for sure. But since then, I've been my usual introverted self.
Not too bad of a day...but it's late.

The basics of the visit.

Soooo the weekend has come and gone, and so has my girlfriend. But not without us having an amazing time. Saturday we woke up around 10 and tried to figure out if we wanted to make breakfast like we were planning to. In the end we put it off too late so we decided on going to a mall which had Johnny Rocket's to eat lunch. Lunch there was fairly normal except for two things: first, my fries smelled like cookies. Gingerbread cookies to be exact. I couldn't figure out why they smelled that way, but I wasn't complaining. the awesome taste of fries combined with the delicious smell of cookies? The combination was a winner in my book. The only blemish of lunch was that we were charged forty dollars on the meal instead of twenty. It ended up being a mistake that had been taken care of, but we double checked just to make sure. After that we walked around the mall for a little while. Not too much stuck out to us so we only stayed a little while longer.
After the mall we picked up a friend of ours. My girlfriend and she both are absolute fangirls of Dr. Who (I'm not a big fan of Dr. Who myself but my girlfriend says she'll change me into a whovian yet. I do know a little bit about the show because when the girlfriend loves it, you're gonna learn a little bit whether you like it or not). But to continue the story, we picked her up to take her to a play another one of my friends was acting in. We drove to my house to kill time before departure for the play, but the time came to leave. It was my girlfriend, our friend, and another friend we picked up on the way. The name of the play we attended is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. My friend only played a minor part but did an incredible job. After the play our group joined him at Steak and Shake to talk and hang out. We called it a night after being there for a while.
Saturday was quite fun and Sunday was looking even better...we were headed to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the largest of its kind in the world. After Church Sunday morning, my girlfriend and I headed over to a coworker's house and had a good lunch of shrimp tacos, consisting of lettuce, cheese, cocktail sauce, and shrimp (duh). After devouring a number of tacos, we left and joined my cousin, her brother, and another friend of mine, and we headed to the D. We parked a few blocks away from the building where the show was being held and had to walk. Not the best day to be out walking, considering the temperatures were in the teens. But once we arrived, bought our tickets, and headed into the showrooms, man, oh man, was it worth it. All the car brands with new cars coming out had the best on display for all the people to see. There weren't as many people there as there usually would be on a Friday or Saturday, but there were still quite a few. Usually, there are a few things being given out that everyone wants. This year, there were yellow Chevy glasses being given out. To receive them you had to go into a photo booth and take a number of pictures of you and whoever else was with you and the pictures were turned into a flipbook. My girlfriend and I went together and we made a fun flipbook and took our glasses. But of all the vehicles there, there was one car that stuck out as my outright favorite. The Corvette Stingray just completely blew my mind. If you need an idea of how good it looks, just image search it on Google and you'll see how crazy awesome it is. After a few hours of walking around, we headed back out. I had soccer that night, and I wasn't about to miss playing my favorite sport. After going home and changing, my girlfriend, sister, and I headed out to the building where I play. Unfortunately I didn't do too well. But I played hard and I ran my head off so I wasn't too disappointed in how I played. We also won 9-8 so the win helped too. Unfortunately after soccer we headed home for the last night before my girlfriend left. She wouldn't be here much longer.
Tomorrow was not going to be much fun.

Quick update.

Don't have much time to write, so I'll save all the good stuff for tomorrow's post (hopefully tomorrow). The girlfriend arrived back home around 9:30ish tonight and she's going into work shortly. This weekend was a blast...the only regret I have is that it was way too short...we need so much more time together. Missing her a ton right now...it's never easy to see the one you love go. But life does that to you, and even though she's gone, I know I'll see her again. I'm not sure when, but whenever it is, I'll be ready and waiting with my arms wide open for her to run to. But since I've got work early again, it's time for some rest. All of the weekend's highlights and randomness will be told tomorrow. Wish she was here.

She's finally here!

Yeah, so I can't really blog every night like I was hoping to...been a crazy couple nights. I've been going to bed early each day this week because of work...they've been pushing more and more to be on time so I've been extra careful and made sure I got enough sleep. Couple that with doing random stuff to prep for my girlfriend's arrival, going to a viewing for my coworker's brother, and the other things I normally do, and you have one busy guy. But of course, it was all worth it to be able to see her again.
Well, things didn't exactly go smoothly on Friday. It was an easy workday, so that was hopefully going to be the start of an easy day that would lead up to an awesome night. I got off work at noon and headed home, showered, and worked on finishing stuff around the house for my girlfriend's arrival. Her bus was scheduled to leave around 10:45 am and she was going to arrive in Detroit between 6:30 and 7. She tried calling me a couple times during work and I figured she had stopped at different places and wanted to call me. So when I looked at my phone and had an incoming call around 1, I was thinking she was at the halfway point. "Heyyyy. How are you?" I asked. "Pretty good." her response didn't sound too convincing and I decided to ask a few more questions. "Where are you at?" And the response I didn't expect: "On the way home." And not on the bus? Well, things just took an interesting turn.
When I received that answer, my heart dropped. The whispering doubt that she wasn't coming at all made itself welcome in my head and wouldn't leave me alone. I was afraid that my amazing weekend wasn't going to be so amazing. She quickly ended those doubts as she told me she was still coming, she just wouldn't get here until midnight. Relief replaced doubt and I was just thankful she was still coming. She then told me the story of why she missed her bus. Earlier that morning, her car had blown a tire on the way to her work. She basically lost the whole tire and had pretty much only the rim and a small amount of rubber. She pulled her car to the side of the road and had a coworker pick her up. After work she called a tow truck to come take her car to a tire store so she could get her tire replaced. The rest of the morning that same coworker drove her around wherever she needed to go. But between getting the tire replaced and getting all her stuff, She ended up missing the bus. Quite a fun morning, it sounded like. So after that, she ended up being able to replace her ticket and traveled on that bus to Michigan. She pulled in around midnight with no other incidents while on the bus. I picked her up, gave her the flowers I bought to surprise her with, and brought her home.
All in all, a successful trip.

Busy, Busy, Busy.

Didn't get to post yesterday...it was a busy day finished off by two games of 6v6 soccer...good way to end the day. Usually I only play one game but I was asked to help another team and, of course, jumped on that chance. The first game (my team) I played mostly forward and was able to score a hat trick, and although I played decent, I definitely could've played better. The second game I played defense for half then goalie for half. Unfortunately, because of how late it was after playing, I only got four hours of sleep which isn't too bad but I definitely need more than that.
Work went well. Nothing crazy happening then, just a basic day at work. Afterwards I was supposed to start P90X with my coworker, but his roommate totaled his car (the roommate's car), and he had to help look for a new car. So tomorrow brings about the start of P90X (hopefully)!! I really need to get in shape. Anyway, I play basketball on Monday nights, so since tonight was Monday, basketball ensued, and one of my other coworkers joined me for that. But of course, the night he comes, the largest number of guys to come out for that happened to be in attendance tonight. About 21 guys came out, and with only one court to play 5v5 with, you can imagine it caused a problem. So, using all of our awesome problem solving skills, we stood around for about 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do. We eventually solved it by going half court 4v4. It was decent but nothing special. So after a few games I called it a night and headed home. Unfortunately, my girlfriend started work earlier than usual  (about 8:30) so I didn't get a chance to tell her goodnight. So here I am, writing on my blog. When I should be sleeping. Haha. But it's all good, I do enjoy writing on here.
Finally, update on the girlfriend visit: she works at Fedex which apparently gives some kind of discount for plane tickets. While she's at work she's going to ask about the discount and then determine after work which route would be best to take to get to Michigan. So this Friday I should see her!! Gonna be very excited once it gets closer to the end of the week. So it's 11:11 right now and I wish to see my girlfriend. Just thought I'd throw that in there for my girlfriend to see if she reads this post haha. But I really do wish to see her. But anyway I'm so totally ready for the weekend. Got a lot planned while my girlfriend is here...one thing we're gonna do is go to see a play my friend is performing in. It's called And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. He (the friend performing) and I have been friends since I was in ninth grade (2007) and we're great friends to this day. Acting is one of his passions and I wanna help support him. So that'll be fun. That's just one of the things. But I'm sure I'll write about everything we do after she takes off. Or I'll update nightly. We'll see how everything goes. But for now, work awaits. 6 a.m. again! Yay. Time to get this tired body some sleep.

Good News!

So I got some AWESOME news today. MY GIRLFRIEND IS COMING TO VISIT!!!!! Normally, this wouldn't be as big a deal, except for the fact that she lives in southern Indiana and I live in Michigan. We don't get to see each other very often so any chance we get to see each other we take. Unfortunately, her car is older and it won't make it through a trip to Michigan, so for her to visit, it has to be through some sort of other mode of transportation. I was lucky enough to find a car that is a road trip kinda car that a family friend was selling and got it for a decent price. It is my first car and a great one at that. I've already had a number of experiences with it, like being pulled over in Ohio and being let off with only a warning, or locking my keys in it four hours away from home, so it's definitely got a special place in my heart. I plan on using it for many more trips to come.
But back to this visit, sadly, it's not for sure. Gotta see if my girlfriend can get tickets for the visit and see what the cheapest way for her to get here is. But I honestly can't explain how excited I am for her to visit...I miss her waaaaaay too much. But not too much really because I can never miss her too much. I'm just really ready for her to visit. I last saw her just before Christmas so it's been a few weeks. But New Year's Eve was a mess....I needed her here. Or to be there. It's just not the same without her by my side. And every day without her is a day that's incomplete. So needless to say I just wanna be by her side and that's good enough for me.
We've been dating for almost two years now...coming up to this mark in the summer. Luckily for us, we were best friends before we started dating. I was the guy that was too stupid to realize my best friend liked me. I had no clue she felt the way she did and didn't see it until I realized I liked her. I can still remember that night when I realized that I had feelings for her. A lot of feelings. We had been playing laser tag with friends for a few rounds and she and I were all sweaty from running around. So we went outside to cool down. While we were sitting out there we probably talked for about an hour about random stuff. While sitting out there, I looked at her and just kinda stared. She was looking out at the sky and around the parking lot. It then dawned upon me - she may be my best friend, but I have true feelings for her. Quite an awesome feeling. That night I was talking with one of her friends and told him about my feelings for her. He then told me the thing I was apparently too blind to see...she liked me back. After talking to him, I decided I needed to act on this.
The next day she and I had a day of just hanging out. We went to the mall, then to a pizza joint, then to the park. The whole time I was nervous almost scared, to tell her I liked her. Even though I knew she liked me back, I asked the friend I talked to the night before about 5 other times that day if she really did like me back. While at the park, we walked around for a little while before sitting down at a small dock area that led right up to a lake. While sitting there, I told her a little story then confessed my feelings for her. She became super excited and told me she liked me back. Definitely a highlight day for me. And we've been together ever  since.
So basically I absolutely love my girlfriend with all my heart. And I can't even begin to describe how tough it is away from her. Especially when you have to say goodbye after a visit...but for now I'm just waiting for her to be here and for me to be able to see that beautiful face looking back at me...in person.

I apologize.

So it's come to my attention that when I posted a story about something that I messed up on, I did not put my girlfriend in a good light. I basically was rude and unkind about her. The whole ordeal was my fault and could've been fixed had I been less lazy and more motivated. In no way was I trying to poke fun at her or blame her for what happened, I was only trying to explain what happened. So I just wanted to apologize to my girlfriend for the poor blog post and that I love her...I gotta be more careful about how I explain things.

Decent day.

Sooooo I guess I'll just make this blog a nightly thing now. Today not too much has happened...but it was a decent day. Gotta work tomorrow...it's money though I guess. Not looking forward to missing my valuable sleep-in-until-someone-decides-to-shine-a-spotlight-two-inches-from-my-face time. My room has no windows so it's basically dark if the lights are off and the door's shut. My room rocks. Not just for that reason but also because I actually built it with my dad and grandpa. I actually didn't expect to be able to have a room in my basement at first. My parents have always been strict and I figured they'd shoot me down the moment my room request started to leave my mouth. But I asked anyway and my parents said yes. I guess it pays to ask sometimes, even if it seems like a lost cause. So my dad and I enlisted the help of my grandpa (awesome craftsman) and we built the room I live in now. It's actually the biggest room in the house so that's always nice. But anyway, going waaaaaaay back to not being able to sleep in (the two word synonym for the super long definition used earlier). Not looking forward to waking up early, but hey, it's not like I'll be doing too much at home. So bring on work.
I was able to have dinner with my sister so that was fun. Just a time to talk and hang and stuff. I was telling her about how I wanted to start a Saturday soccer league to give some people who play soccer something to do in the offseason. So far it's only an idea, but I'm hoping to get it rolling soon. Fingers crossed on that. But now for bed...work looms in my not-so-distant future.

Not sure how to do this.

I can already tell I'm gonna suck at blogging. Basically, I can use this to write pointlessly and take up time that would otherwise be put to good use by, oh, I don't know, having a life or something crazy like that. Unfortunately the people I hang out with the most are away at college, so I basically don't hang with too many other people. And with a long distance relationship to handle as well, it's not always the easiest to see my girlfriend (as in I don't get to see her very often at all). And even with the friends that are here, they're usually busy or just aren't able to hang out. Or I have work. In other words, there's usually something going on that prevents me from seeing a lot of my friends. And that means more time to think. I don't trust my thoughts when I'm alone. And the problem is I would rather be alone than out and about in the first place. So  hooray for wanting the thing I know is bad for me. Sigh...of course add that to anything else that's wrong with me and that just makes it even better haha. But anyway, that's enough rambling for the night...time for sleep.
So I've decided to try my hand at this whole blog thing. A few of my friends have a blog and I figured, why not? So here I am typing out my first post. Woot. But anyway I want to keep this blog simple and just a place to write down thoughts or whatever else may come my way in this everyday rerun called my life. Here we go.
